Over the past couple of years, the L.A.-based band Sons of August has fused heartfelt indie pop hooks with American folk to create a sound all their own. Now, the five-piece – Matt Sessions, J.C. Chan, Jason Grissinger, Justin Robertson, and Ryan Ratfield – are prepared to show the world another facet of pop with their digital- and vinyl-only debut, “Vaudeville.”
