With the help of Craigslist and mutual friends, Kickbush first performed as a trio at the legendary Double Door in Chicago. Creating original, experimental rock, we expanded to 4 and have been gigging and recording for the last 3 years. Recent shows include packed houses at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall, The Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville, Fitzgerald’s and O’Sullivan’s in the burbs, the Upland Brewery in Bloomington Indiana, as well as shows throughout northern Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.

The scathing nostalgia of “Veggie Burritos” became a fan favorite as both a celebration and criticism of the wanderers on the jam band scene.

Does She Think of Me is a lusty reflection of the yearning that penetrates everyday life.

Skillful drumming, dual-guitar (occasional slide and lap steel guitar), powerful vocals, rock solid bass and moments of free form expression add to the songwriting.

The self-titled debut album is available for download at iTunes and Amazon.

Your first guess would probably be something along the lines of a 16 year olds wet dream, and most  of the time you’d probably be right. Of course that wouldn’t be your first guess if you’d heard of the Swedish Pop Punk quartet that goes by the name of the Future Idiots.

The Future Idiots manage to masterfully craft those three tantalizingly tasty topics together in what amounts to just a small sampling of the material that’s loaded on the bands half-dozen releases.
